Hi everyone, this is a general Maya question:
I upgraded last year from 2009 to 2011 Maya and I also had to do a backup and system restore on my laptop after that.. well sometime between when I had 2009 and now ALL my 2009 project scene files are completely GONE. The project folders are there for some, but no scene files.. anyone have any ideas to find them?! I already looked in my backup drive and I couldn't find them either, so I think when I upgraded from 2009 to 2011 they were lost, but you'd think Maya would allow you to keep your projects..

Well; if you're still looking for them...
It sounds like the same thing that my girlfriend ran into. She had the files on a really dodgy hard drive and tried it in a different computer and found the files that way.
