I gathered reference and decided to give this little guy a personality of a naive puppy who doesn't really know better. My reference includes different ideas I was playing with as far his behavior and the small nuances these dogs do when they come across a foreign object they find threatening.
And I decided to make a rough animatic to get a rough idea of timing and possible poses I would like to use (and exaggerate). Enjoy!

Your idea is really cute, especially with the cute rexxy rig! Too bad it didn't work out but Coco is cute as well :)
Heads up for future students: Do NOT use the rexxy. Cute model, bad rig.
