dkAnim.mel

So this is another tool similar to zooXferAnim, where you can import/export animation channels to a new file.

For instructions on installing/using it, follow the instructions on the last post on this thread.

quoting the thread below:

Very easy to use, copy it to the mydoc/maya/script folder, then open maya, write dkAnim in command line, there your dkAnim window will open, put it in your shelf.
TO apply it:-
1. open the animation file , open dkAnim window, select all the controls having key, then go to dkAnim window, in the top WriteOptions panel, browse for the path to save your animation in txt format, check on save hierarchy, Click on Write Anim button. Now there you see that txt file carrying your animation.
Last, open another file not having the animation, remember rig should be the same having same name animation controls, now open dkAnim again there, in the ReadOptions panel, browse for that txt file, here you don't need to select any rig control, leave everything else, just check on the option Load explicit Node Path (default would be checked), finally click the Read Anim, there you got your animation tranfered.

Remember this works between the same character rigs only.
