The staging looks good but I don't see any facial expression. That would be the most important thing I would want to see in the first pass.
I think the staging is good, but you should try and add facial expressions and push how much the character on the right moves.
It is very hard to tell what is happening in the shot due to the dull poses and timing. Be more specific on the actions the characters do. Why is she walking into the scene? I would have her be in the same place.
I like the shot that you choose, maybe add the animation for mouth will be more better
