The sniffing in the beginning feels a bit dead to me. Does he have a nose control? Maybe you just haven't gotten to that yet; but if his wittle paws go up or down a bit slowly it might help keep him alive.

His head turns back very slowly after he locks onto that little cube. It doesn't seem to have a purpose. His attention is already on the cube, and he's not doing anything else so his head should be aimed at the cube that whole time.

His hops could stand to be broken up, just to have more interesting timing. I think the first hop should be the faster of the 2 if you want him to be more determined and curious; or the 1st hop could be slower if you want him to seems more cautious.
