Cat animation

Hey guys,
here's my animation... I though about adding more animation, but as I'm already struggling with it, I thought it would be better to keep it simple... comments are always welcome!  =)

Hello everybody! Jon here with my latest work.
First, my idle:

And here's my 3 Strike Combo. I'm not happy with it, the broad strokes are there but it's off, too swimmy and a few pops.

Thanks for taking the time to look at these, any input is appreciated.

Kyle - 3 Strike Animation for Games

Hey guys,

I went ahead and made an attack animation for Chaingun Chip. There's not much I can think to say. I experimented with thumbnail drawings first to help visualize my idea - KICK KICK....BADABADABADA (insert awesome machinegun sound here)

I'd love any thoughts :).

Crystal - Creature Primitive

I was out sick last week so here is my creature primitive. It's going to be a cat rig. I was having a tricky time visualizing a ball in place of a cat walk cycle. How far along should we be with the rigged character for next week?

Chain Gun Chip

Hi everyone. I'm gonna try to be more active on the blog this second half of the semester!
I'm doing animation for games, and this is my idea for the character:

“Chain Gun Chip” is an overconfident robot engineer out to take over the world with his army of robot warriors. He usually stays back to let his minions do the dirty work, but he will occasionally mount his personal mech to spread chaos himself.

Chip’s mech is old and rusty, shaking when idle. But it is rugged and sturdy, able to traverse any terrain with the help of jet packs in the back.

Chip fires the machinegun with little restraint, showing no concern for his limited ammunition.

To summarize, Chip is overconfident and maniacal. His mech, however, is old but sturdy.
Below is my idle animation so far. Any feedback is greatly appreciated :)

IRe_Dance-Polish Stage

This Video is for Midterm.
Still In Progress, Now I'm in the polish stage.
Hey Everyone!!

If your having a problem with the namespace not returning to "A" when referencing your character, (example-- your character is referenced as "B" and you try to change it to "A" maya replaces it with an "A1" or "A2") you can use these codes to fix the problem. Make sure to type the top code in the command line first, hit enter, and then the bottom code.

namespace -mv "A" ":" -f

namespace -rm "A"

This is not a permenant solution however, and you will have to type this in everytime you want to change the namespace of a character back to "A" Hope this helps!!!

Jerry Son: 1st Final - Lip Sync

Good afternoon!

I always realized polishing work is never finished step. I guess, I can say I am done with my work. It's ashamed of showing others, though. I followed great suggestions, I edited her bouncing timings and his surprising timings, and I added rough back ground.
Well, I am going to do fighting assignment for next project. I am excited with that :)

Thank you for watching.

Jon Hanson Parkour: Almost done

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well! I know it's a little late to ask for any more critique, but here's my video in case anyone has any suggestions for last minute tweaks.

I have to admit, polishing is my weak point. By the end my keys and splines are kind of a mess, I can see places where I want to tweak the timing but I'm just dreading the prospect of having to shuffle around all the stuff that's accumulated over the course of the last month and a half. Plus there's just the general midterm fatigue, I'm kind of sick and tired of watching this guy hop around.

Anyways, any comments are appreciated! Good luck everyone!!!

Marco Sarandi Acting Shot WIP#1

Hello everyone!

This is my work in progress for the first assignment. The audio clip is a little fast so as a result the animation is fast, however I will contrast the skinny dude's animation with the bigger guy's slower movements so hopefully it will help. For the second character he will tumble forward and catch the sword as it drops. Please share any references of heavier people catching things!

Thank you
Marco

IRe_Sharing my Working Process

Photo A: Steps
Photo B: Break down Key Note

Photo C: Note for Woman Dancer

Photo D: Note for Man Dancer

Hi, this is Ire
I would like to share my working process. For my dance animation I took several notes by myself. After I finished researching references, I start to break down keys. Then make 'Drawn out key frame' note. Photo B is my Key frame note. I break down the key frame, man and woman seperatly. Because they have different key poses.

Bold Red # = Key frame
Gray # = new added Key frame

If you look at Photo B, You can't figure out whats going on. It's hard to recognize which frame is which pose. So, I made new notes for visualizing it. Photo C and D, both are 'Drawn out key frame' note. In this note I wrote down "Where is the center of gravity", "When is the weight shifting moment", "which way to rotate their body" etc......
This process helped me a lot to in my workflow.  I hope this posting will help you guys.

Jerry Son: Lip Sync Audio file

Hello class,

I am going to post an audio file. I am not so sure everyone still remembers what my audio file was (that was "No Santa? Was I bad?" it included about the Jewish religion). Because of respect of other religion, David recommended to find another audio file. I hope this one is appropriate for class work.

INSTRUCTOR POST - Welcome New Students

Welcome to the AAU Fall Semester of 2012

This is a persistent online site I use to allow students in my class to solicit and offer feedback on their animation. There are a few important notes;

1. Conduct yourself here as you would in the class. Play nice with others and be supportive and constructive with your comments. Limit the posting to information relevant to the class.

2. I use participation here as part of your class participation mark. Participation accounts for 20% of your total grade! If you're shy this is a great way to be involved in the classroom discussion. You get points for posting your work or for giving feedback on other people’s animation.

3. Title each post with your name, for example: “David Latour: Blocking Pass 1”. Your blogger ID may not be something I recognize.  You don't want to miss out on participation marks when you post here.

4. This blog is as helpful as you make it. Be active with comments, post your work regularly and take advantage of this venue. Monitor this site at least once a week. I will use this as a forum to make general announcements and answer common questions, so you don't want to miss out.

Even If you're new to blogging you'll find this a pretty painless and straightforward process. If you have something from class you'd like to show, use the following steps:
·         Playblast your work (16:9 ratio, 640x360, convert to .mov, with H264 compression)
·         Post the movie file on any video streaming site (YouTube, Vimeo)
·          Copy the “embed HTML” from the streaming site
·         In blogger click "new post" on the upper right corner of the screen and click on the "edit HTML" tab on the top right of the new post and paste the code in the window.

5. Blogger works best with Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome. If you have technical issues: try switching your browser. Make sure you login with the Google ID that you were invited with or you won’t be able to post or comment.

Every time someone adds a new post or comments on an existing one, I get a direct email. I try to look in here regularly and offer critique and guidance as well. This blog will be available as space allows, so you will be able to continue posting here after the end of term. (You may even see former students offering feedback here.)

Welcome to the blog and have a great time.

*Your first assignment:  Post your name in the comments of this welcome message with a sentence or two about what you hope to learn in this class.

I hope all your summers have started off well.. I would like to refine my final char anm 3 assignment and would appreciate any input you'd like to give.

INSTRUCTOR POST - Thanks for a great semester!

That's it for Spring 2012! Thank you for your hard work and enthusiasm. Please make sure you fill out the AAU online feedback forms. (+cookie points if you already have). If there's any direct comments you want to pass on to help improve the class (things you thought worked well, and things that you would've liked to see changed ) - put them in the comments section of this post. Thanks for your feedback.

A few tips to keep from getting rusty over the summer:
  1. Join up with the S.L.A.W folks on Facebook - student led animation workshops that will be running over the summer. Fun feedback and animation exercises galore. Huzzah!
  2. Pick a 3-5 sec audio clip and do a quick acting animation over 2-3 weeks.
  3. Grab a random rig online and audit it. (test every control and try a tricky pose or two)
  4. Pick a random emotion and do a quick 15 minute posing drill: 5 minutes to gather reference and 10 minutes to make the pose.
  5. Go through the blog archives or onto an online animation forum and offer some constructive critique on someone's animation work.
Aside from the workshops or the lip sync - none of these exercises should take more than an hour of your time and will help keep your skills razor sharp.

I've enjoyed watching your abilities evolve and improve over the term. I look forward to working with every one of you in the future. Graduating students: please keep in touch. Folks continuing their educational journey: make an office appointment with me in the next term.

Have a great summer everyone!

Mike Grabski - Looking for a particular script

Hi everyone!  I was wondering if anyone knew where I can find a particular script.  I cant remember what it was called but basically what it does is when you select an attribute fro a controller in the attribute editor it brings up that curve in the graph editor.  If anyone has a lead on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Any Summer Projects Going on?

So I am free for the summer and I am available for any projects going on for the summer, for any animation. So if anyone knows of anything I would appreciate you telling me in the comment s below, I feel I have grown as a animator over this semester and want to tackle a new project. Email- Orosart@gmail.com

Thank you for your help :-)

Angel Liboy - Obstacle Course/Parkour

Yo,

I forgot to keep posting my updates here! :(
Been going back and forth on this exercise, on how to make it work better, trying to shorten it, but I think I got the concept down of what I wanted the character to do. Tweaking the timing a bit more for the ending, it still feels a bit slow and it needs more impact. Also going in and working with the overlaps of the limbs, the breakdowns and in betweens of the poses. I still have a lot of work ahead of me, I know. But I like how it's coming along.

Thank you for reading, commenting and suggesting.

Taylor Holmes: Eugine Running and Idle Block

Alrighty. Having some technical difficulties. Adobe Premier seems to be dropping frames and messing up my video. Do you know of a simple way to repeat a cycle outside of Maya, perhaps in Quicktime?
Keeping in my there is a pop because of a missing frame or two in the run, I like the run for the most part, and the idle I'm testing out and want to hear what you all think of it.

What'd you think?
--I am not happy with the floppy head in the run, and I've been fighting to get the right timing on the swing of the gun but I just can't see it fresh anymore. Also how do you feel about the overall bounce (This will be hard to judge until the video is fixed)?
--As for the idle, what I have here isn't nearly as jerky or scared as I want it to be, I just want to see if it feels organic and non-repetitive to you. If so, then all I need to do is push it in a few area's, if it felt like a cycle then please point out where.
As always, any comments or critique is welcome, and thanks ahead of time. I've gotten some really good feedback on here all semester and it is much appreciated. I'm grateful to those of you who take the time.

Kelsey Heckenkamp - Creature Progress

Before scrolling through it, I feel I should note that there's going to be a longer walk in the beginning and at the end nico is going to redirect himself on the bed and then lay down. I most recently did the jump. I still need to work on curving the feet. Since I dont have much time left, I was thinking about deleting the geometry on the tail so I dont have to worry about animating it, or at least maybe shorten it to a bob tail. My reference for the jump is in the link below:

I've been cleaning up my creature jump. This is what I have so far. The arms still seem off, but would love to hear anything that you think can be improved.

Animation Timer App

So this is probably  little late in the game, but I just remembered I had this app and I thought I'd share. This is basically an Animation Timewatch created by animator Randy Cartwright. It's a great tool to figure out your timing and spacing for each character movement, breaking it down at the 24fps range that we need to measure.

I don't think he has an equivalent for the Android Market, but if you guys know of any let me know, and I'll add links to them to this post.

Have a great week guys!

Your Opinion! Give!

Has anyone taken either 105 Acting 1 or 141 Movement 1: Physical Acting?

What did you like best? Least?
Is there a teacher you would recommend?
And is there anything you think important to know before diving into the class?

I'm looking for the most amount of relevant application to animation while also being obligated to play a goof in public- and hopefully grow more comfortable with the idea. Your feedback would be hugely helpful for deciding on an elective for Fall.

Thanks :]
Steph

Scott Cho - AFG pass (idle pose redone)

Hey guys.  I came up with two different idle blocking pose to show his furious behavior in a last minute (between 0:03-0:05).  I will come up with more idle poses and I would be glad to hear some ideas regarding to the pose.

Monday, April 30, 2012

Taylor Holmes: AFG Blockings

There are the blocking stages of my 3 strike and one of the idle variations. As always, any and all comments are welcome.
For the idle, the MAIN area I am not happy with is how he settles into the idle pose. it just seems floaty and without purpose that he becomes scared again all of a sudden.

For the 3 strike I am mainly worried about the over timing. I want to make sure the strikes seem satisfyingly powerful but not too much so given that this is supposed to be wimpy character. Also What do you think about bouncy timing? Should he rest more between each move?
Thanks ahead of time for any contributions.

Kelsey Heckenkamp - Creature progress

So I pretty much had to scratch my initial setup a few weeks ago as I hadn't seen the tracking video yet and when I went in to delete my keys, it ended up just being a big mess so I had to start over. Since a big hunk of my animation is my creature walking to a bed, I've been refining the cycle before it gets to the bed. Because I've been trying to fix the timing/spacing on the legs and torso, I haven't animated the overlap or secondary in the tail and head. I'm seeing a weird timing issue @ the end of the cycle but would appreciate any critique. If anyone has dealt with animating creatures already and can offer troubleshooting or tips that would also be of great assistance. Hope everyone's projects are going well.

Update (5/1): Side view has longer cycling so its easier to watch.

Mary Castaneda - Creature Animation Pass/polish

I'm back at working on this, and could use some fresh eyes. There's some obvious things that need to be fix (walk between 3-5 secs, facial expressions, for example), but any comments critique will help.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend. :)

PS: I should point out that I'm going to have a Morphy rig running. The scene will essentially be a running sequence. It will just be a quick run cycle on treadmill mode since I'm focusing on the creature animation more.

INSTRUCTOR POST - If you are graduating this term...

From Robert Steele:

A large percentage of graduating students have still not submitted their Final Portfolio to the online Final Portfolio Review area. They have already received notification of the need to do this. This WILL AFFECT THEIR ELIGIBILITY TO GRADUATE this semester.

Could you please announce in your classes that Senior graduating in Spring and Summer 2012 need to submit their portfolio to the online Review area in their online student profile to graduate ASAP. (This does not apply to students that have graduated in Fall2011) Again they should have already received notification of this. Following is the email I will be emailing them over the next few days. You can read it in class if you like. (Actually I would prefer it. J )
Also attached are the instruction for uploading in case any of them have not yet received it.

YOU ARE MISSING YOUR UNDERGRADUATE FINAL REVIEW PORTFOLIO. Either you have not submitted it to the REVIEW area located in your online profile or you have published it yet by selecting the Publish button in the REVIEW area in your online Student Profile.

Again you must submit to the REVIEW area and select PUBLISH when you are done. Do not submit to the area marked Portfolio

You MUST submit a Final Review Portfolio online to be considered a candidate to Graduate if you are graduating in Spring or Summer 2012.

Not submitting to the online portfolio review WILL AFFECT YOUR ELIGIBILITY TO GRADUATE this year.
In case you have not received it. Instructions for posting to the online Portfolio area are attached.

You MUST submit by May 1st 2012 to be reviewed before the end of the semester.

Scott Cho: Blocking Pass 3(AFG)

Hey guys. I am still having an issue with timing of feet in a running scene. Do you guys think that guy's feet are staying on the ground too long?

A little tool for inspiration

So, I just found this on Cameron Fielding's blog. It's a little tool he wrote to help him really think about his shot as he is working on it and to push his work. Its filled with pieces of advices from, among others: Frank & Ollie,Brad Bird,Carlos Baena,Bobby Beck,Glen Keane.

You can download it here

Mike Grabski - Maya Loading issue

I was wondering if anyone had this issue.  To give a little background on the issue, I have one scene where all of my world elements are(buildings and such) where I have been importing my rigs for animation.  After coming back to my scene to do some work on it, Maya loads the file but gets stuck at 98% while reading the Morphus rig file.  It basically freezes Maya entirely and I am sitting staring at my computer scratching my head.
I tried to reference the scene with all of my animation and it took a second but loaded just fine.
Does anyone have an idea on how to "fix" my original file so that I don't have to copy all of my animation onto another rig or god forbid reanimate.
Also I am wondering if this is an issue with working on a student version of maya at home.  When I force Maya to close that's when the "This file was created using a student, blah blah" then it closes.  Normally that would pop up right before the scene fully loaded.
I have saved the file as a maya ascii and I have found the line of code that declares your scene as student work.  So I guess an additional question is, if I need to get rid of that "student version" prompt what do I need to replace that line of code with to see if that is what is causing the problem.

Anthony Merola- Camera Language and Composition

So I just found this website, with this AMAZING PDF on shot composition and camera language. This is a great resource for setting up demo reel pieces.

Scott Cho: Blocking Pass 2(AFG)

Hey guys. I have added running pose and running jump pose. I also made changes with three strike pose in the last minute and it still needs more work (a character steps forward whenever he tries to punch).

IDLE

Three strikes

Running

Running Jump

In running cycle, I just realized that legs' movements look awkward when one leg comes forward before it touches the ground. I found that thigh and knee are high in "in-between" shot and I am trying to figure out how I should change legs' pose for pose 6 and 7.

I have also uploaded seven shots of running poses and you are welcome to share ideas how I can fix leg poses.

Hope you guys have a good spring break.

Anthony Merola- Blocking Pass

Hey everyone, so this is the first part of my blocking. The Parkour comes in the second part. This is a bit of a challenge for me as I decided to block in stepped mode (I am usually a layered animator). Hopefully my keys are reading well right now.

AlexanderLee_Dance

i just want to know if you guys think this is good enough for a dance scene.  I am still in the rough and haven't done the facial expressions for the girl.  I'm trying to concentrate on the emotional aspect of the song but i'm just not sure if this is enough.

Taylor: AFG Idles

 This is my basic idle.

These are my idle variation block outs.

In this second idle, his helmet will fall to the side when he turns his head so he will be adjusting it.

My concern is that the 2 moves are too similar. Obviously they are not identical but they are kind of close. What do you guys think? If you think they are too close do you have any suggestions on how to tweak them so they read better? As always, all comments are welcome.

Srisupa S. Fight Pass01

This is my first pass. I would like to hear some feed back. I think some of timing is too slow.

Thanks you.

Taylor: Need a custom script?

I am in scripting class this semester and am trying to come up with an idea for my final project. If you have needs that can be filled by a script or two, let me know. I'd love to make something that will actually help people out. So far we have done things like create a simple rig builder, and create procedural geometry. I can also do GUI's (graphic menu's). If you have any suggestions or needs, I'd love to hear them.

Anthony Merola- "Unknown Nodes" error

Hey everyone,

I know that I have run into this a few times, where maya does not allow me to save a scene because it says it contains "unknown nodes" and thus cannot change the file type.

I found this handy mel command which tells maya to parse the scene for any unknown nodes, and subsequently deletes them.

The instructions can be found here.

http://juss-usa.blogspot.com/2010/02/file-contains-unknown-nodes-or-data.html

Enjoy!

Scott Cho: Blocking Pass 1 (AFG)

Here's my character's idle pose(0:00-0:08) and three strike attack(0:09-0:12). I will add a running pose in a week.

"Jack is a hot tempered kid who used to be a victim of bullying since he was little. Normally, he is very quiet and nervously looks around his surrounding while being careful not to lower his guard.

He gets really furious when he sees bullying and never shows any no mercy to his enemies. Although He has a kind personality, many people do not realize it because he does not express it on his face.
Jack is also has pressure due to a fact that he does not have friends."

I need more time to adjust timing(punching, etc) and feel free to share your ideas!

Taylor: Meet Eugine

This is Eugine. Below is my character description, see if it matches your first impression.

Before the war Eugine was a programmer. He was perfectly content to listen to the hum of his computer in his mothers basement, occasionally stopping to feed their 12 cats. Now he spends most of his time cowering in trenches, covering his sensitive ears. Eugine has never been much for exercise, due to his flat feet and acute asthma.  He doesn't like firing guns, and doesn't want to hurt anybodies feelings, let alone kill them.

I am looking for any general critique. I am particularly interested in the silhouette, and the hand placement. I am debating whether to keep his finger on the trigger, or to have him just grip his right hand just like the left to show how unfamiliar he is with a gun. The face is not top priority but I would like to hear how it makes you feel. I'm going for a panicky pathetic scared type of thing.

Thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully comment!

Mike Grabski - a really cool posing tool

So I had a bit of a heart attack when I found this.  This is only for mac users so PC people sorry but I'm sure there is something similar.  Basically what this is is a plugin for OSX that allows you to keep most windows on top and you can add transparency to the window.  Great tool for posing!
Here is the link to the download site.   http://infinite-labs.net/afloat/
The page describes which programs cant use this plugin, for animation purposes I haven't found any drawbacks yet.

Mike Grabski- posing and twining question

I had a question for the animators that did the Parkour exercise.  Did you find a lot of twinning in your reference?  In my videos it looks like the legs twin  a lot, especially during the jumps.  Can you give any advice on how you broke up that action outside of just frame offsetting.  Maybe its just a matter of making the silhouette read better.  Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Barnett - A Rare Treat

This is a short animated film by Hayao Miyazaki called Mr. Dough and the Egg Princess. You're supposed to only be able to watch this at the Ghibli Studio Museum in Japan but somebody snuck a camera in and posted it on youtube (unlisted). It's about 15 minutes long including the promo stuff.

I can't seem to embed video on this blog.

Mary Castaneda - FINAL

This is my final scene. Very different from my first blocking. But I've learn my lesson and like I've said in the comment post I'll be planning and keeping it simple in al lof my animations from now on.

Thoughts and comments are still appreciated, thanks! :)

Hi guys. I need more work on characters' facial expressions and I would love to hear some tips regarding to that (eye brows, eye lids, eye directions, etc).

Thanks!

Kelsey Heckenkamp - Lip Sync Pass

Didn't get time to have mine reviewed for class.

Some things I was considering adjusting for the final pass:
-some phonemes need to be fixed, as well as timing
-"big" morph sit down too slow and floaty
-need more side to side movement in "tall" rig
-tall more head reaction at end. maybe tap foot?
-"big" adjust hands and eyes at end
-add set details (if time)
-"big" fix facial expressions/timing
-"big" fix weird hand exchanges at end
-exaggerate facial expressions more (both)

If anyone has other things to add, critique, or counter argue against I would love the feedback. Thanks.

INSTRUCTOR POST - feedback required: what have you learned so far?

Now that we have gotten through the first assignment, take a moment to think: what would you suggest to your fellow students on this next assignment to ensure a better outcome? Any ideas on workflow that would've made things easier? Share your thoughts on the one thing you've learned so far that you wish you knew at the start of this term. Any must-have tools that sped up your workflow? Share your idea in the comments section of this post.

Still need polishing more.

Mary Castaneda - Pass

Still need to add facial expression but any other advice for polishing will help. Thank you. :)

Mike Oros Scene 1/3 coming along.

Scott Cho: Blocking Pass 4

Hey guys. I am still working on adjusting timing smoothing movements. I am concerned about timing for the boy's pose (0:01-0:02, 0:06-0:07).

Can anyone please can give me suggestions how I should change timing with those poses? Thank you!

Update (11:35PM, 3/13): I have added revised one(added some off set, changed timing of the boy grabbing a plate) to compare with the top one.

Angel Liboy - Acting Assignment

Yo, hope everyone's been doing good this week. So this is what I got so far, I made a couple of changes. It's rough still, I know. Had trouble approaching how to do things, still don't have a good animation workflow. :S

Anyhow, any and all suggestions are welcome. Thank you for watching. :)

Scripts for your Workflow

Hi Everyone, i thought I would share these scripts with everyone, as a few of them have become VITAL to my workflow. Because of these tools, I have narrowed down my workflow to about 80% graph editor, 20% posing in my viewport, and 4 hotkeys.

He is a pixar animator, and a former Academy student. I highly suggest looking into ackPushPull.mel, and ackNegateKeys.mel

Kelsey Heckenkamp - playback issues

So I'm working on a mac and seem to be having playback choppiness when watching my animation in real time. The playblast plays normally, but I'm having the issue now of some of my animation speeding through waay too quick on playblasts due to my issue with choppiness cutting up the frames. I checked to make sure its playing at 24 fps and tried adjusting a few options, but I haven't found anything that works yet. If anyone has experienced this issue and/or has a solution I would appreciate knowing how you solved this. My audio is also now randomly not working on playblasts. It was for most of the project and still works on Maya work screen.

Mary Castaneda - HELP!

So there I was at the lab, minding my own business when all of a sudden I decided to open the Command Shell so I can make a MEL script. Suddenly, Maya crashes, and immediately I remember that I didn't save it in 30mins. *gulps*

I open the last file, asks me for the path name of my reference rigs, and this happens. The same thing happens to MOST of my previous files. I do have one where I can start off again, and it's not a HUGE loss, but if anyone knows how to get around this problem, I would appreciate it if you let me know. Will give cookies!

Thanks guys!
Mary :)

AlexanderLee_2nd pass

hey guys i just finished adding the lip sync in and there was one thing i'm worried about and that is the pose where he's pushing on the table i'm trying to make it look like he has weight as he hits the table but not sure if i'm really pulling it off alright

Mary Castaneda - First Pass

Hopefully now with a hand constraint the "waltz" moment will be more fluid. Will probably reupload a new pass later this week.

Any thoughts/comments/suggestions will be greatly appreciated! :)

Srisupa (Noii) Pass02

Here is another pass of assignment. I'm not so sure about the guy knocking the table. I feel something is off. I still need to fix the movement. I'd like to get some feedback.Thank you.

Scott Cho: Blocking Pass 3

Hey guys! I have changed the boy's poses for 0:05-0:11 and right hand shape (holding a dish).

I still need more time to adjust pose timing, add off-sets and fix mouth shapes.

I am stuck with timing and arc of head turning issues. If you guys have suggestions, please feel free to share!

Mike Grabski

So here is another pass at my assignment.  I'm in the process of cleaning up arcs and tightening up the lip-sync.  Everyones projects seem to be coming along great I can wait to see all of the finished work!  Any feedback is more than welcome!

Mike Grabski - Morphy IK/FK question

Hi everyone, I hope all of you have been having a great week so far.  I was wondering if anyone had an IK/FK match and switch script for Morphy.  I'm looking for something similar to the one for Norman.  Or even better if anyone would like to share their workflow for IK/FK switch and match it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

AlexanderLee 2nd pass

Hey guys i redid a bit with my scene and just want a few comments to see if its any better then before.  I'm wondering if this camera angle is fine.  I also want to add the head flick but that would mean extending the audio so wondering if i should leave it is or not.

Toshihiro N.- Parkour pass02

Hi, everyone. This is second pass of Parkour animation. I moved to spline mode and removed the twirl jump at the end. I made simple roiling jump instead. I was trying to make physical action carefully. I'd like to get some feedback. Thanks.
